INTERNSHIP
PROGRAM
We are seeking students,
primarily from the Consortium institutions, who are interested in applying for
internship opportunities. We are committed to placing students in all of the
federal agencies where the needs of the students and of the agencies can be
most effectively met. Agencies such as the Department of Energy and the
Environmental Protection Agency are eager to review the applications of
promising future 'scientists and engineers'. Internship service can be
advantageous to students who are interested in careers in Environmental
Research and Development fields.
Agencies that have participated
in granting HBCU/MI internships are the Department of Labor, the Department of
Energy, the Department of Health and Human Services, the Department of
Interior, The Department of Education, the Department of Commerce, the
Department of Housing and Urban Development, The Environmental Protection
Agency, and the Central Intelligence Agency. We will continue to obtain
commitments from these agencies to include internships in their plans.
